This policy explains how Olesym collects, uses and protects the personal data of people who visit this website or contact us through it. It follows Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 on the protection of personal data and the guarantee of digital rights (LOPDGDD).

We only process data that is necessary for the purposes set out below. Depending on how you use the site, this may include:

• Data you give us through the contact form: name, organisation, email address and the content of your message.

• To respond to enquiries and sample or partnership requests sent through the form or by email. Basis: your consent and the pre-contractual steps taken at your request (Art. 6.1.a and 6.1.b).
• To manage relationships with clients, suppliers, investors and partners. Basis: performance of a contract and our legitimate interest in maintaining the relationship (Art. 6.1.b and 6.1.f).
• To keep the website secure and working correctly, using technical cookies. Basis: our legitimate interest in a secure and functional site (Art. 6.1.f).
• To understand how the website is used, using analytics cookies. Basis: your consent (Art. 6.1.a).
• To comply with legal obligations that apply to us. Basis: compliance with a legal obligation (Art. 6.1.c).

4. How long we keep your data

We keep personal data only for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected for, and to meet any legal obligation:

• Enquiry and contact data: for the time needed to handle your request and, afterwards, for the period required to address any related liability.
• Contractual data: for the length of the relationship and, once it ends, for the limitation periods set by commercial, tax and civil law.
• Cookie and analytics data: for the duration of each cookie, up to a maximum of 24 months, after which it expires or is renewed only with your consent.

When the retention period ends, data is deleted or anonymised.

5. Who we share your data with

Your data may be shared with:

• Service providers that process data on our behalf, such as website hosting, email and analytics. They act as data processors under a written agreement that meets Article 28 GDPR.
• Public authorities and courts, where we are required to do so by law.

We do not sell your personal data.

6. International transfers

We aim to keep data processing within the European Economic Area. Where a provider processes data outside it, we apply the safeguards required by Chapter V GDPR, such as an adequacy decision or the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the european Commission. • Portability: receive your data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format and pass it to another controller.
• Objection: object to processing that is based on our legitimate interest.
• Withdraw consent: withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out before you did so.

8. How to exercise your rights

Write to [email protected], or to the address in Section 1, stating the right you want to exercise. We may need to confirm your identity. We will reply within one month, which may be extended by two further months where the request is complex.

If you believe your rights have not been respected, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, www.aepd.es, C/ Jorge Juan 6, 28001 Madrid).

9. Automated decisions

We do not make automated decisions, including profiling, that produce legal effects for you or similarly significant effects. If this ever changes, we will tell you beforehand and explain the logic involved and what it means for you.

This website uses technical cookies needed for it to function and, subject to your consent, analytics cookies to understand how it is used.
